Like all evolution wireless systems, the rugged metal housing of evolution 100 Series ensures it can withstand the rigors of life on the road. evolution 100 Series - tough build quality comes with a whole lot more - great handling, simple, easy-to-set controls, and a design that reflects its stature as a serious professional instrument. evolution 100 Series transmitters and receivers offer four pre-selected switchable UHF frequencies for simple set-up and operation; while additional channels can be selected and set manually in increments of 25 kHz for extra versatility
evolution 300 Series allows you to take it all a lot further. Bigger productions with more microphones for large bands, multiple vocal groups, tour productions and gigs with several artists on the same bill, theater production for larger casts, broadcast and television productions with several artists and presenters evolution 300 Series gives all the quality, additional capability and control to provide the kind of wireless microphone systems that would require a budget running into thousands of dollars. All you need to decide is which set-up will meet your needs.
Imagine an entertainment industry today without wireless microphone technology. Sennheiser pioneered much that is fundamental to the modern world of sound production. Without multi-channel transmission, signal companding and switchable frequency operation, the production heights scaled by today's top sound engineers would not be achievable. Musical theater, televised sports and entertainment spectaculars, and even many opera and drama productions could simply not be performed on such a scale.
In recent years a further major advance in live sound production has allowed performers to dispense with the use of traditional monitoring systems and enjoy even greater on-stage freedom. Personal stereo systems using a wireless link to receive a monitor mix are replacing floor wedge and side-fill speaker cabinets.

Like the wireless microphone, the wireless In Ear Monitor (IEM) system has allowed performers the freedom to command a greater area of the stage and beyond without the danger of inducing feedback into the microphone, or moving out of earshot of the monitor speakers. The advantages of clarity and fidelity offered by IEM will be obvious to any performer who has strained to hear their voice or instrument in a monitor mix, against a background of ever increasing on-stage volume levels. A further advantage, for artist and sound engineer alike, is that completely individual monitor balances can be transmitted to each performer.
