Capture

Video and audio capture: The miroVIDEO DV200 is a PCI bus mastering board with IEEE1394 connection, the best interface between your digital video camera and your computer. miroVIDEO DVTools automatically scans the DV tape to locate scene in and out points.
The camera controller allows for previewing before capture of any data. Scene locations with timecodes are organized in your album, so you can capture only what you want. Save space on your hard disk!

Optimum capture and rendering: Once you have arranged the scenes to edit in your album, miroVIDEO DVTools will automatically cue the camera and frame accurately capture them. DVTools uses a function to accomplish lossless capture.

Edit

Professional Editing: Captured video segments can be arranged to produce a cuts only production, or loaded into Adobe Premiere for titles, transitions and special effects. miroINSTANT Video allows you to render only the modified scenes of your project: saving up to 50% of your hard disk space.

Video editing
Load your video and audio tracks directly into the editing software; delete, move, view, and assemble the video clips any way you want. Add animation, still images, and graphics. Everything is stored on your hard disk so you can easily change it again and again.

Transitions
Add eye-catching professional transitions, such as fades, wipes, zooms, and more. Simply select from a list of options and drop the effects right onto your video. Choose from more than 300 Pixèlan SpiceRack real time transitions.
Filters & special effects
Create additional impact with a variety of filters that let you distort, blur, sharpen, smooth, and colour-cast entire video clips, video clips segments, or single frames. Layer still images or video clips on top of one another. Combine transitions, filters, and superimposed images, to create sophisticated special effects that rival the most expensive studio equipment.
Titles and Graphics
Pinnacle Systems TitleDeko character generator plug-in for Premiere. Add amazing creativity and impact with Hollywood-quality titles. Hundreds of styles including rolls, crawls, shapes, neon, metallic, and soft edges are all user adjustable and can be applied to any fonts.
Superimpose type and graphics to create titles and credits that play over other clips. In addition you can import animations, images, graphics, or text into the editing software and add it to your video production.
Digital Audio Mixing
Capture and edit 16 bit stereo audio, re-mix a videos sound track or add music and voice-overs from a different source. Audio tracks can be mixed, faded in and out, and filters can be applied.

Output
Output Video data back to DV devices: When a production is finished, you can output the video data back to the camera through the IEEE1394 link. Print to tape can be done from Adobe Premiere for multiple video files, miroINSTANT Video automatically prints files back to tape, breaking the 2 GB movie size limitation. For cuts files, the DVTools Print to Tape function can be used.
