The new MicroSun marks the beginning of a new era in ENG lighting. The camera-mounted luminaire offers sensational luminous effeciency. It consumes less power for its output than any other fixture in its class. By comparison, a tungsten fixture with daylight filters would consume seven times more power to achieve the same light output. With a focus range of 1:6, the latest members of the Sachtler Reporter family almost reach the level of a fresnel lens.

Reporter 200DI. Sachtler's most popular HMI light. Available with handle (Reporter 200DI) or stand-mount socket (Reporter 200DISM) in several different kit configurations for battery and/or mains operation.

The Reporter 270DI is the most powerful battery-operated light on the market. With its single-ended 270W HMI bulb, the Reporter 270DI offers an outstanding light performance of 6000 lux in the spot setting. With its even light distribution at all focal settings and the extremly wide, 1:9 focussing range, the R270DI can be used for much more than just portable applications - for instance, it can step in as an "open face" fixture for creative lighting.

Production 575DSE. Sachtler's smart alternative to PAR-type fixtures offers the same efficiency, but without requiring heavy and fragile lenses. Continuous focusing from 12 to 80 degrees. Super rugged diecast aluminum housing. Can be operated on all mains voltages from 100 to 240 Volts using Netronic 575AN. Available with Schaltbau or metallic Veam connectors.

Director 270D. Sachtler's smallest HMI fresnel lens fixture. Super rugged diecast aluminum housing. Mains or battery powered using the same ballasts as the Reporter 270DI open face fixture: Netronic 2 for operation on all mains voltages from 100 to 240 Volts, or Batronic 2 for operation on 30 Volt Belt-Pack® batteries.

Director 575D. Super rugged diecast aluminum housing. Can be operated on all mains voltages from 100 to 240 Volts using Netronic 575AN. Available with Schaltbau or metallic Veam connectors.
