DVCAM Portable Recorder DSR-20P

The low cost DSR-20P is a DVCAM digital recorder/player in a compact half-rack size chassis. It accepts AC and DC power inputs making it suitable for both studio and field recording and playback roles. With its i.LINK (DV I/O IEEE 1394) interface, high quality single cable digital transfer of video, audio and data can be executed between other i.LINK fitted camcorders, VTRs and PC based NL editing systems (ES-3 EditStation).

The DSR-20P's LANC interface allows connection to other LANC compatible equipment for time code editing, while the RS-232C and Control S interfaces add additional remote control flexibility. Convenient operational functions such as Power On Recording and Playback, make the DSR-20P an attractive VTR for a wide range of professional applications.

LANC Editing - Fitted with LANC interface for connection to other LANC equipped camcorders, VCRs and edit controllers for TC based editing.
Control S - Incorporates a Control S interface for remote control operation of multiple DSR-20Ps using an optional DSRM-10 remote Control Unit.
3-hour Recording Capability - Accepts both mini and standard DVCAM cassettes allowing up to 184 minutes recording. Dual cassette mechanism.
REF Input - Includes an external reference input and selector for playback synchronisation with other equipment.
Compact Size - Both compact and lightweight, two DSR-20Ps can be rack mounted side-by-side. Easily transportable.
Automated Functions - Power-on recording and playback capable allowing use of external timer. Auto Repeat allows continuous replay of a program.
Cassette Memory Search - Capable of searching for index points recorded on tapes and for photo data. Controllable from DSRM-10 Remote Control Unit.
AC/DC Operation - Capable of powering from AC mains or 12V DC allowing operational flexibility in studio, office or in the field.
